In this day and age, with social media, messengers and texting, successive posting is the norm. We have a thought, we type it. We don't care if we type 5 thoughts after one another, that's the norm.
In the golden age of forums this was frowned upon, and even penalized. Members could be accused of padding their post count.
Well, it still looks "heavy" on forums. By heavy I mean, your profile information is attached to every post and it's certainly not as lean as a one-line text. So out of curiosity, I have posted this poll.
In my community, I let it go as the norm but I sometimes merge the posts without any penalty or notification. You?
