There are some really nifty things I've seen, including the routes manager. I'm trying to do a more complex setup where I'd like to have mysite.tld/forums/ and addon.myslte.com where I could specify that certain add-ons are situated in a subdomain. I'm unaware that the route changer can do subdomains, only subdirectories.
If any of you are asking why I'd want to do this, my answer is that there are numerous reasons why, both from what I think is an optimal setup for certain sites as well as trying to move another site to XF and maintaining existing structures.
