As designed Sticky Thread doesn't count to # of threads?

Hi, it looks like a sticky thread doesn't count to the total number of threads in a forum shown on the bottom left of the thread list page.

This is as designed and isn't a bug.

Sticky threads are not counted as part of the threads per page limit (default is 20).

So if I have 5 sticky threads and the thread list set to 20,
I will end up with 25 on page 1 and 20 on subsequent pages?
Sorry, I have to disagree with this design.

The problem with counting them is that it ends up creating a whole load of questions/inconsistencies. Not counting them for the per page limit or the total thread count becomes the only reasonable thing to do.
