XF 2.2 Stickies Not Appearing in New Posts

I recently noticed that any sort of New Posts view, whether logged in or not, does not include my Stickies, which appear only in an all posts kind of view.

This appears to be the case here and on my forum as well. I would like guests to the forum to see our Stickies.

They will appear in new posts if they are unread.

If someone visits our forum and is not logged in, e.g., a first-time visitor, they do not appear.

Presumably because they are older than the read marking data lifetime value.

Thank you - I found and changed that value to the maximum, which is 365.

Pinned posts, however, do not appear at the top, only in their chronologically correct spot when I am not logged in. Is there a way to change that?

Stuck threads are only pinned in their respective forums.

It would require an add-on to change it.

Consider an alternative approach such as a notice, an ad slot with a link to the stuck threads, etc.
