Hi guys, looking for some advice here.
I'm a member of staff for a game server and we have recently been discussing ways to streamline the way we handle users reporting rule breakers on our server.
Currently, we have a section of our forum which is set up so that only members of the server staff can see all threads made in it, and regular members can only see their own threads. Our guidelines on how to submit a suitable report are in a subforum that is visible to everyone. What we are seeing is that many people simply ignore the subforums and post a report that does not follow our guidelines.
So essentially we are looking to see if it is possible to post a thread in the reporting forum itself, sticky it, and then have every member able to view it, and it only, while still not being able to see reports posted by other users.
Is this possible in default XenForo? If not, are there any plugins available out there that provide this functionality?
If it's needed, the forum is currently running on XenForo 1.1.3, but is due to be upgraded in the near future to 1.3.
