Add-on Sort threads by prefix

My users are asking for the following:

Sorting threads in a node, based on an alphabetical order of prefixes.
So if, for example, I have 100 topic prefixes, and the user chooses to sort by prefixes, all threads in the node are sorted by this sort and not by the date the thread was published.
Is there such a thing?

There isn't a thing by default, no. But you can filter by prefix.

Multi prefix by Xon does a lot of things but not sort alphabetically .

The prefix text is actually an XF phrase, so alphabetical sorting isn't straight forward code wise and will take a toll on performance (page loading time). Filtering by prefix is a different story since that's just the prefix ID in play.

There isn't a thing by default, no. But you can filter by prefix.

And you can filter alphabetically. And you can do both at the same time except it only shows one prefix at a time (with titles filtered alphabetically within that prefix).

It also seems a bit odd that with alphabetical thread filtering punctuation is listed, ie before A.
