XF 2.2 Some images/attachments not redirecting to forum URL after vBulletin 5 import

Dear all
I've moved from VB5 to the fantastic Xenforo 2.2.
Migration went (almost) fine.

Most of the images are clickable, but a lot refer to a link without the base forum URL.
Like this one.

The forum url is missing (https://astroforum.nl)

For an example see:
Thanks!
Norbert

I'm not seeing any posts with that URL format for attachments in that thread.
They all appear in the form https://www.astroforum.nl/attachments/guiding2-5-20-1-jpg.1449507/ to me.

However, as a guest I don't have permission to view the full sized images.

Sorry for any confusion: here is a correct one
When you click the images, the error occurs. Thanks!

I accessed your link as a guest, there is no mistake. When I click on the picture, I am redirected to the XenForo login as normal. Only registered users can see full-size images / attachments.

That's not standard XF attach code - it should just be something like [ATTACH=full]123[/ATTACH].

What does that look like in the source VB5 database?

That is an advanced attachment tag format that's supported, though the problem will be the wrapping URL tag.

The problem there is that the link simply appears to be a format that isn't supported. The "http://" part is weird though it's probably from a conversion that has happened. I'd guess it was originally a relative URL and XenForo doesn't allow relative URLs (we make them absolute).

This would probably need a content replacement for that URL format in XF (as we don't do any sort of rewriting of links), though the link wouldn't really work anyway as that is presumably pointing to some sort of vB5 URL? It's not one I'm familiar with and I don't think we have any concept of attempting to redirect it. Ideally, the wrapping [URL] tag would need to be removed.

The table looks good, the old vb5 forum did not show something special. Neither did the conversion table (VB5 import log)
Thank you for clearing this up. I now assume that it was a kind of a weird VB5 setting in the past. I will try to perform a search/replace on these posts with the find/replace plugin for XF2.
A big thank you for your help! Norbert
