Well, considering that this was last updated (on the site) back in June 2013, and that most of the GitHub stuff is over a year old on the updates, and that it was originally for 1.2 version of the forum software and we are currently at 1.4.3 and that there have been a LOT of changes - is it really expected that it would be working?
The only thing you get out of this is the VK, and there is a much better add-on out there now that works well and is being supported (@RoldanLT has already posted a link to it).
