It hasn't been touched in 5 months despite numerous bug reports. It hasn't even been updated to be responsive which was a 1.2 feature and 1.3 is about to be released by XF. The last time we even heard from the author was October 3rd.

What makes you think it's not abandoned?

Depends on the issue. I have in the pipeline a fix for the importer for some scenario that seems to have a duplicate memberlist. Which other issues are you seeing?
 
Are you able to feed a RSS feed into the groups, also can the groups be viewed in the normal node list when in forum view.
 
  • Added the ability to "watch" a group. When a user watches a group, if someone creates a new thread, he/she receives an alert.

Does this work with any of you? My users don't get an alert, I don't get one, too. Is there anything to tweak here?`
