This might be a silly question, but im reletivly new to this.

Im trying to add my sitemap to google search consol. I've done this before for other sites, but not xenforo.

I used www.mywebsite.com/sitemap.xml or /sitemap.php
but i get:
"Sitemap can be read, but has errors"
"Sitemap is HTML"
"Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead."

Any ideas will be helpfull.

Thanks.

I see a couple issues right away. You are serving your site over both http and https. This is incorrect. Your sitemap urls are also http this would be incorrect.

1) Make sure all http requests are forwarded to https. How to do this will depend on the type of server your site runs on.
2) Make sure your board url is set to: https://www.yoursitename.com (it is currently set to http://)
3) You may also want to set the forums default page to: Forums (it is currently set to New Posts and being a new site and very few posts, this could be confusing to users)

Doing 1&2 will likely straighten out your current sitemap issues. If not let me know.

Thanks for looking into it!

1, I'll try sort that out.
2, It was set to http earlier, i changed it today to https as it also had a conflicting issue with the SSL.
3, thanks for the tip, i'll change that setting.

If it doesn't work, i'll report back.

Thanks for your help.

Can you guys take a look at the baby community moment by apologizing so much? Is the sitemap and HTTPS well set? it seems like something is wrong, there is a decrease in indexes, I changed the server, I set the domain DNS forwarding incorrectly, and it stayed like that for two weeks. Google also showed up as banned. Then I realized that I redirected DNS fully. But the number of indexes, which was 2500, decreased to 750. @Brogan @bzcomputers Additional information, content written by members on the site, messages are not copies. completely original content

The site seemed to be banned in this Google ban check for two weeks… Then I looked into intoDNS, the site could not be redirected to the new server.
My current problem is that the number of indexes, which is high, has decreased to 750. Can you understand what went wrong?
Nothing like this has happened for this site in 5 years.
