Support response says

I've checked the case and it seems your website has been disabled because of a malicious content. My colleagues updated you by email and as far as I can see abnormal numbers of spam emails being sent from your website 'pompeyonline.com'. that's why it was disabled.

I have not seen an email and no idea what to do. I have been getting loafs of spam emails. I have no addons or any scripts running on the forum. Any suggestions?

It's something you will have to speak with your host about.

Ask them for a copy of the mail log so you can determine who or what is sending the spam emails, then take steps to prevent it and ask them to restore the site.

You could also ask them to put a limit on the number of outgoing emails per hour as a temporary measure.
We had a problem with the previous hosts and it turned out that a series of malicious php scripts were somehow being seeded amongst the site files - we never actually got down to the bottom of how.
We haven't had the problem since moving hosting company

I am thinking of moving hosts. I have not changed anything so it has to be a host issue as even a back up from before this began has not restored
