Are there any add-ons or ways to simplify resource editing and updating, or does anyone know the rationale for the current system?
There's three options (edit, update, change type) and some fields are only changeable in certain screens.
I can understand that requiring an update + supporting update messages makes sense for software specifically, but doing this can be bypassed by using "Change Resource Type" anyway.
