XF 2.2 Simple navigation link not updating

Trying to test using a simple navigation link for some of the public navigation. XF will save the changes but they don't seem to be reflected on the site.

"This navigation entry has been customized. When its associated add-on is upgraded, your changes will be maintained."

Any idea what the issue could be?

Setup > Public navigation

Edit navigation: Log out​

I thought maybe this was just a cache or batched update issue. But it's now been close to 48 hours and the links never changed.

Can anyone give me some guidance?

Is there a different syntax that needs to be used?

Or a requirement that links don't go off site for certain categories?

This seems like a pretty straightforward feature otherwise.

That navigation entry is not linked with the dropdown menu if that's what you're trying to change.

Yes, that is what I'm trying to change. So, what link is that navigation point controlling?

And I assume that means I have to change the dropdown in the template? Can you tell me what that one is called?
