Not sure if this is the right section, but it's dealing with a member, so figured I'd toss it up here.
So, I'm just trying to find some confirmation on how IPs work and if they might help confirm a suspicion I have. Basically, there is a member on my forum that the community has suspected for a while has created multiple accounts in order to circumvent some rules. These three accounts in question all have connected with a variety of IP addresses, and most of those IP addresses all are similar. Specifically, they share the first two parts of the IP. The last two parts, however, are always different.
I've only found one IP that all of the accounts in question used one day. Otherwise, it's always just similar IPs.
What might the explanations be for these similar IP addresses? Does it point to one person connecting? Or could there be some other explanation?
