Lack of interest Prevent Similar Nicknames

Hello all,

Coming from PHPBB, there was a feature that prevented similar nicknames from being used when registering.

For example, if a user already had the nickname 'United States of America', then another user wouldn’t be able to register with 'United States'. Similarly, if someone had 'Table' as their nickname, another user wouldn't be able to pick 'Tables and Chairs.'

Is there an existing add-on that provides this functionality, or would it need to be added?

XF can do this natively. So, if I put FTL in the block list, any username including those letters would be blocked.

Look for "Username validation".
