Description:

Adds a sidebar to the Forum View and Thread View.

This add-on is designed primarily to be able to show advertising in the sidebar while visitors are viewing the Forum View and Thread View.

Installation:

1. Download sidebarpositionsplus_v1.0.zip and unzip it.
2. From your Admin Control Panel, go to the "Install Add-on" page....

Added Group Permissions. Now the sidebar can be shown in forum view and thread view to only those groups you want.

It's great adds-on.
1) It works after make "1" in "sidebar extra..1/2/3/4".
2) Must give "user permission" "yes" to all fours under "user group"

Hi, AndyB how do I get the sidebar position Plus on each page / area?

I get an error message when trying to install this with the add-on install and upgrade. Is this a bug?

I like the addon, but it appears to have removed the visitor panel on the forum view and thread view pages (I had been using widget framework). Any idea how I can add it back?

I use in message ads and would like to remove this for thread view but leave it for forum view, any ideas how to do this? 1.X
