XF 1.2 Sidebar Online Users Problem

Love 1.2 and all of its features, but any idea how I can get that fixed?

Also the staff ribbon is enabled but not displaying.

I did yes, everything works but the staff banners and the online thing.

I have a fluid (regular) skin called Octane, and EVERYTHING on there is perfect, working great, then I have my main skin under that, that's fixed, everything is working fine on there too except for those two things, also the navigation still shows "Whats New" instead of "New Posts" I checked the outdated templates and this is what it says

  Now when I click on merge changes, it says "No previous version of the parent could be found. Merging is not possible."

I went back on the regular style ( not my main ) copied the template from there and pasted it on my main skin that it didn't work on and that solved it for me.
