Not sure if this is suggested already but the three dots on the right of the "New Profile Posts" block doesn't seem to be an explicit call to action.
My users still are under-utilising the profile post system, so what about explicity allowing the like button beside each post, and a comment button loading the dialog as the 3 dots do, eg
There's even room for the number of likes and comments (eg Liked (4))
