How to show (fake) core version,

Good afternoon! I wonder how to show on footer my version installed actually or even better a fake version. For example for to show real version: i want to display automatically my version on footer after:

Forum software by XenForo™ ©2010-2016 XenForo Ltd.

(i use 1.5.x)

or show fake version:
Forum software by XenForo™ ©2010-2015 XenForo Ltd. Version: 1.2.5

That actually wouldn't work now, and also wouldn't be allowed any way. It's against the License Agreement to modify the branding in that way.

You could add the version, but it must not be as a result of modifying the original copyright message.

You could add the version to that area using the extra_copyright phrase.

is there any code to add to show the version automatically ? For example i use 1.5.3 and then i update to 1.5.4 To show actual version automatic. Or i have to put it manually each time?

I do apologise for posting the link to that resource that was against the License Agreement, but I was not aware of it.

I do not think that there is an option to display the version on footer automatically. You will have to do the edit manually. Or you can create a simple Template Modification to display it automatically.
