XF 2.0 Show "recent posts" without the "Show only: Unread" flag

I feature links to both "new posts" (not yet read) and to "recent posts" (including both read and unread posts) in the navigation bar.

After the upgrade to XF2, however, both display results with the "Show only: Unread" filter preselected.

For New posts: https://bizwarriors.com/forum/whats-new/posts/47/ - this works as expected

For Recent posts: https://bizwarriors.com/forum/whats-new/posts/47/ - this still uses the "Unread" filter.

What can I use for recent posts so it shows all posts, read or unread? I'm targeting the last 7 days, although as the forum gets busier I might want to change that time period.

Now if I want to specify only posts in a certain time period, can that be done?

I believe that would require some code changes. AFAIK there is already a set time period of 2 weeks or something like that if I'm not mistaken. But it's definitely limited.
