XF 1.1 Should I Remove "General Talk" Forum?

Hi,

If spammers attack only my General Talk forum, does this means I shouldn't actually maintain this forum? I often see spammers attack Off Topic or General Talk or something like that.

I don't think the problem is your General Talk, it's the spammers, what sort of anti-spam methods do you have in place.

I use Q&A Captcha which my questions aren't those simple ones and I have a total of 5 questions (4 older, 1 just added). These spammers were able to verify themselves and become registered users.

May I know if you can suggest which addon can play quite an important role for spammer issue?

I suggest using this instead of Q&A. Put this in, and you should be fine.

And then get rid of the current spammer accounts. None should register after that. (Hopefully)
