Sharing Templates Between Styles

Active member
I have a few add-ons that require template edits and I've also made some template edits to the default style. I would like to offer an alternate theme with a different default font and fixed width. Is there a way I could share the templates between two styles or perhaps "extend" the default style so that I don't have to make the same template edits twice every time I upgrade?

Templates are inherited by child styles. If you put those edits into a parent style and then turn your two styles into children of that parent style then they will inherit the changes.

Ah you're right. I was confused because there seems to be a bug where if you delete a style you imported, then create a new style, it recreates it from the style you deleted. At least I think that's what was going on.
