XF 2.0 Set a thread as default/landing place?

I would like to know if there is a way that I could set the default place where people land to be a sub-forum, or perhaps, have the main index itself be a forum/subforum.

My goal is to make the experience as simple and dummy-proof as possible for people. And I think just having a central place for people to find and create new posts is a good step towards it. I simply want people to be able to visit the forum and hit a 'post threat' button, then go to work!

Set the Index page route to the forum that you want people to arrive at when they visit.
