    I just moved to my VPS from the shared hosting. The shared hosting was a mistake. Anyway, the forum is all working OK now just like it was on shared and before I left but when I try to upgrade plugins or do the rebuild process I get this error:
    Code:
    Server Error

    Invalid data writer 'XenForo_DataWriter_Template' specified

    XenForo_DataWriter::create() in XenForo/Model/Template.php at line 1144
    XenForo_Model_Template->reparseTemplate() in XenForo/Model/Template.php at line 1203
    XenForo_Model_Template->reparseAllTemplates() in XenForo/Deferred/TemplateReparse.php at line 20
    XenForo_Deferred_TemplateReparse->execute() in XenForo/Deferred/Atomic.php at line 66
    XenForo_Deferred_Atomic->execute() in XenForo/Model/Deferred.php at line 294
    XenForo_Model_Deferred->runDeferred() in XenForo/Model/Deferred.php at line 428
    XenForo_Model_Deferred->_runInternal() in XenForo/Model/Deferred.php at line 373
    XenForo_Model_Deferred->run() in XenForo/ControllerAdmin/Tools.php at line 159
    XenForo_ControllerAdmin_Tools->actionRunDeferred() in XenForo/FrontController.php at line 347
    XenForo_FrontController->dispatch() in XenForo/FrontController.php at line 134
    XenForo_FrontController->run() in /home/--/public_html/--/admin.php at line 13
    In my server error log I have this-
    Code:

    That looks like files that haven't been uploaded correctly. Run the file health check in the control panel. What does it report?

    You were right. Uploading those files seems to have fixed it. :)
