Seeking a Xenforo programmer to create an add-on bridge to integrate with Wild Apricot membership software using their API v2 and SSO feature. (links below)
First a little background Information:
We’re currently using Memberize (a member management system) with Simple Machines Forum. We had a 3rd party authentication plugin written to allow us to use Memberize as the authentication source for our SMF install using the Memberize SOAP interface.
We’re moving away from both Memberize and SMF and need a way to tie the new membership system Wild Apricot, and the new forum Xenforo together so that our members don't have to juggle multiple accounts. Incorporating the Wild Apricot SSO feature is desirable.
We’d like the bridge to take care of the Xenforo account provisioning/authentication, as well as enforcing unique forum handles. We also would like to be able to assign users to Xenforo User Groups based on Wild Apricot group membership level to control content delivery and board access. The membership database on WIld Apricot will be the master. Xenforo profiles should pull an update when a user logs in.
Our group has both free forum only members as well as full paid members, and we would like to be able to use the forum to be able to automatically give access based on member type.
Here are the links to Wild Apricot’s API and SSO documentation.
