XF 2.3 Search suggestions doesn't work

Hello,

I have enabled search suggestions and rebuilt the search index but nothing happens when I type something in the search box. Any ideas?

There was a bug in search index rebuild for 2.3, I wonder if it is related, although it seems you did a successful rebuild?

On my test site there is no problem at all rebuilding index with 2.2 but as soon as I install xf 2.3 / ES 2.3 and try to rebuild index I am getting the error there is not enough memory. Spoke to host (Mattw) who suggested this is a bug because he tells me what I'm trying to do with rebuilding index is asking for over 1GB of memory for php.

Thank you for reporting this issue, it has now been resolved. We are aiming to include any changes that have been made in a future XF release (2.3.1).

Change log:

Fix an issue where the batch size for search rebuilds could grow unbounded

There may be a delay before changes are rolled out to the XenForo Community.

If i run it via admin cp I get a 503 service unavalible error.
I used cli and I thought it was successful but may be in was killed in the backround I'm not sure
