RM 1.2 Search does not work

    Hi,

    I'm currently setting up my XenForo installation with Ressources and ElasticSearch.
    I had to import my files from an old cfiles installation and did that using manual injection into the database.

    That has worked well for me, all ressources properly show up, can be downloaded, etc.

    However, searching doesn't seem to work.
    It always shows "no results".

    I've tried rebuilding all caches, but the search doesn't find anything inside the ressources.

    Any idea what this could be or where to look at?
    Can categories be configured to be excluded from search and I accidentally did that?

    When we discussed this in private I'm not sure if we covered this; have you actually ran the rebuild search index tool in the Admin CP? Admin CP > Tools > Rebuild Caches. You can select the resources content types from the drop down list.

    Also which tables did you insert data into for each resource?

    Yes, I did rebuild the search index, first for all and then explicitely for the Ressources.

    Or should I open a support ticket?

    As long as each resource has a corresponding update and version I can't see why there would be a problem.

    Looking at the sample data above, this seems to be the case.

    It may be worth submitting a ticket.

    Okay, I'll do it when my migration is finished.
    It's nothing urgent :)
