XF 2.1 Search and Replace text in posts

One of our members has asked for their username to be changed, which we've now done.

In any 'quoted' text, their old username still exists.

Is there a way of doing a global search and replace for text?

I don't think that will work, as there is no specific phrase in the database to correspond with the quote.

For example, with the above quote box you can try to search the database fror the phrase Ozzy47 said: , but will get no result because said is a phrase that is preceded by {name}

Sure you could replace all instances of Ozzy47, but they may have unexpected consequences.

I tried this and as the name was also part of many soundcloud embedded URLs so it broke all of those.

Just found this though and it does work sepcifically for quotes

Also one of the "easy way" is using censor.
However if the username is generic word (or phrase), such as "xenforo", the result won't be good
