Lack of interest Scroll post #1 to top when navigating from clicking a thread from New Posts that's never read

I go to my forum and click New Posts. I click threads to visit them. Those that I have read will scroll the first unread to the top - good.

If I have not read a thread then there is no scrolling and I have to scroll to get post #1 to the top. If you have a large header and ads then the first post can be down the screen quite a bit. To help in this situation if clicking new posts then clicking a thread you haven't visited it would be nice to scroll post #1 to the same position as you do when going to a thread you have read before.
