That's a pleasant surprise!I updated this addon to 2.3 with a basic export added to it.
Yeah, since @Scandal hasn't been a round in a while, I figured I would update it so, users could still use it and adding the export to it helps if people want to move on from it.That's a pleasant surprise! So the horse is not dead yet, I get my glossaries exported and have now even the possibility to continue using it for a while! Thank you! Will give it a shot and see how it goes!
I did not try the import but the export. Works flawlessly, but unfortunately all definitions from all glossaries are mixed up, sorted in one file alphabetically. As I do have six different glossaries with beyond 1000 defintions this is somewhat suboptimal. Maybe it would be possible to eport each glossary seperately or - as good, but probably easier - so add a field to each entry in the csv with a number or such that identifies the glossary the entry comes from? This way it would be easy to separate the glossaries again from the csv. Will not export/import Glossaries. It will just do the entries in each Glossary.
I never even checked that. Was it like this all the time? I will look into it either way.The old search was a live search and the button below leads to advanced search. Through the refactoring the live search is now gone and the search window is use- and fruitless. You have to klick on "advanced search" to be able to search then in the next screen. Not very inutitive or user friendly, but I am happy that the Glossary works at all.
Yeah, the import is a 2-column import. So, I made the export the same way. I only added a few items for testing. So, your export of multi glossaries isn't going to be in 5 or 6 different ones. I would change this to grab each glossary and the contents under them. I would also try to get it to export/import added fields as well.I did not try the import but the export.
