[Scandal's] xF Glossary

[Scandal's] xF Glossary 1.1.0

No permission to download
Does anyone know how to export the glossaries from this add on to csv? By itself it has an import function but no export function, so any helpful hint would be appreciated.

With 2.3.8 I plan finally to upgrade from 2.2. to 2.3 and as this add on is still not compatible with 2.3 and @Scandal has shown no signs of reaction for more than a year now I sadly have to switch horses (as this one seems dead) and go for a different solution. No harm though - this add on is free and labeled "beta" in it's only existing release, so it would be not fair to expect that it would be maintained. Sadly.

That's a pleasant surprise! :D So the horse is not dead yet, I get my glossaries exported and have now even the possibility to continue using it for a while! Thank you! Will give it a shot and see how it goes!
Yeah, since @Scandal hasn't been a round in a while, I figured I would update it so, users could still use it and adding the export to it helps if people want to move on from it.

I could take the addon over and add the AIXF brand to it. I rather have @Scandal OK before doing that.

EDIT: I just read he was around on Monday. Maybe he will give me permission to keep this addon going.

Installed it on my test system with 2.3.7, ungraded from a 2.2.17 install with the Glossary addon. Works as it should (y) for the most part with one caveat: The old search was a live search and the button below leads to advanced search. Through the refactoring the live search is now gone and the search window is use- and fruitless. You have to klick on "advanced search" to be able to search then in the next screen. Not very inutitive or user friendly, but I am happy that the Glossary works at all. :-)

Will not export/import Glossaries. It will just do the entries in each Glossary.
I did not try the import but the export. Works flawlessly, but unfortunately all definitions from all glossaries are mixed up, sorted in one file alphabetically. As I do have six different glossaries with beyond 1000 defintions this is somewhat suboptimal. Maybe it would be possible to eport each glossary seperately or - as good, but probably easier - so add a field to each entry in the csv with a number or such that identifies the glossary the entry comes from? This way it would be easy to separate the glossaries again from the csv.

I never even checked that. Was it like this all the time? I will look into it either way.

EDIT: Yeah, the search didn't change from 1.0.0. I just reinstalled it on 2.2.6 and checked the templates. Looks all the same.

Yeah, the import is a 2-column import. So, I made the export the same way. I only added a few items for testing. So, your export of multi glossaries isn't going to be in 5 or 6 different ones. I would change this to grab each glossary and the contents under them. I would also try to get it to export/import added fields as well.

I would like to take over the addon. I see some other features that could be great if added.

I will look at adding a search terms button to the left of the advanced search button. Search terms button will just search for the term only. Basically, search for the title of each term. The advanced search is a good idea to break the search down more.
