Samsung GALAXY Camera

Love that Group Sharing thing.

120 frames per second.
1080 full HD video.
I wonder if you can have manual control of shutter speed at 120 frames per second ?
I'd like 1/1000th or 1/2000th :)

At the wide end, there are 10 available apertures from f2.8 to f8.0; at the telephoto end there are four from f5.9 to f8.5. Shutter speeds go from 1/2,000 second to 16 seconds.

For movies, you can shoot at 1,920x1,080 pixels at 30 frames per second; 1,280x720 pixels at 30 or 60fps; 768x512 pixels at 120fps (slow motion); 640x480 pixels at 30 or 60fps; and 320x240 pixels at 30fps. You can also pause movies in the middle of shooting, so you don't end up with a bunch of small clips.

In the auto, program, manual, and semimanual shooting modes there is a row of 13 filter effects you can call up from the bottom of the screen. These can be used when shooting movies and applied to photos after you shoot as well.

I'm curious to see how the HDMI output works. I will primarily buy a camera like this to use as a low-lux webcam. The best one I've seen so far is the Canon 5D series; but those are super expensive and offer a pretty low framerate for video output.

If this camera can offer 30fps at 1080p through the video output, and give an option to hide the HUD, then its a BUY for me... I have tried doing all this with digital camcorders, but they just don't offer the image quality I expect from $500 cameras. They are marginally better than $50 webcams and don't work well in low-lux.

It's a cool idea but it's a bit expensive considering the mediocre picture quality according to reviews I've read.
