Running 2 Websites on 1 Forum Platform

I run a car club and am setting up a new one for a new model coming out.

There are similarities between the 2 but to grow the new one, I really need it to have its own domain name.

I am thinking to join the two with their own set of forums.

Really after suggestions on what works best.

Your post isn't very clear. The title suggests one forum for two sites (against the licence terms) but your posts suggests one site with two forums, one for each (fine with two licenses)

    Thanks for your reply.

Not really sure myself to be honest. If its against license terms to have one forum for two sites I guess this is a non starter anyway.

It's also bad for SEO, Google would see duplicate content if it was the same forum with the same threads on both sites.

    Interesting, thanks.

Had a good look at it. Without downloading it, I'm not 100% sure how it works.

Am I right in saying it allows a redirect from another site and keeps that web address with all the extension's for nodes and pages?

    Am I missing anything?
