RSS Feeds

I have a couple of rss feeds providing news items...the same ones I had when I was using vb...however the first time the feeds ran they got the latest news items but now they are going back further and further each time with threads being created for news items from years ago.

Is there any way to set the feeds up so they only get new items?

It will go through the feed and post anything it hasn't posted before. Once it posts everything, then it will only post new things.

Can't really prevent that.

I had the same issue.
After the 3rd string of old posts I set the feed to go to moderation so each post could be deleted before being publicly viewed.

And like Mike said, "Once it posts everything, then it will only post new things."
