Hello!

I don't know if it's a bug or something, but this behavior did not happen on XF 2.0.

I use the inbuilt RSS Feeder for my site articles, but everything that is posted on my XF with this feature is posting this phrase in the beginning of the article:

DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd">

You guys can see an example here:

My site uses Wordpress.

Obviously this phrase is not inside the original article, just showing up on my Forum. The original article link is here.

Any way to suppress this phrase?

Thanks!

Actually, it kind of is.

Your article pages are pretty badly malformed and not really valid HTML.

Specifically I'm talking about this:

196674

You will see the DOCTYPE stuff appear around line 508.

But the most confusing (and likely most invalid) thing is line 509 where essentially the HTML document starts again with <html> tag. This is not valid HTML. You will likely need to address this invalid HTML to ensure you're getting the correct output in things like RSS feeds and other screen scraping mechanisms.

Thanks for the input Chris!

My original post was bad written, what i wanted to say is that i don't write this HTML phrase on my original posts.

So, the problem is the code on my WP theme.

Anyone around here know how to fix this bad codding?
