XF 2.2 RSS feed not working

Hi, I have a bit of an odd one - we run a few different forum sites and we have an RSS feed set up from https://www.fishandfly.com
This works on all of the sites except one - https://www.flyfishing.co.uk
Other RSS feeds work on this forum, but it won't even let me save the feed for this site. Does anyone have any insights as to why this might be?

Do you mean you have set https://www.fishandfly.com/feed/ as an RSS feed importer entry in https://www.flyfishing.co.uk ?

It works on my local so it's either something related to the server or installation.

What happens when you add the feed and click on import now?

Sorry for the slow reply! Yes, that's right - when I add https://www.fishandfly.com/feed/ as an RSS feed to https://www.flyfishing.co.uk it won't save it - it just tries to save it and eventually just stops and leaves the RSS entry box open. Do you think it would be something to do with security on the server? Would that be the fishandfly.com server or flyfishing.co.uk server?!

Check for console errors when trying to save the feed.

There are no error messages, it just times out unfortunately. I click 'save' and it tried to save it for ages and then just stops, with no error messages. I just can't figure it out! Does that sound like a server issue or something else do you think?

This has happened to me too.

It is the feed.

To work around this problem I used an open-source application called tinyrss to fetch the feed, which is just another rss reader, and then instructed xenforo to fetch the feed from the tinyrss feed, which just feeds what it is fed. I know this sounds complicated but it is very much like having another site that is getting the feed you want and then using the feed from that site instead of the originating source.
