XF 1.5 Route to wordpress

I have xenforo installed in domain.com/

Can i install wordpress at domain.com/word

And then route the main page to wordpress? Or would i need to change the directories.


So when users type domain.com/ they see wordpress main page.. All other urls will remain same.

Yes, you can install WP in a sub directory.
However, you can't then get WP to load as the root.

You would need to do it the other way around - install WP in the root and XF in a sub directory.

I have already installed xenforo in the root, now i am considering WP to be the main page. What is the best approach to do this in terms of not effecting SEO of xenforo
