Lack of interest Rounded avatars like IPS

Maybe in future default option for rounded avatar look more nicer then square ones.

I don't get the trend of making avatar containers round.

What is wrong with squares or rounded squares™?

It's really not something that necessarily needs to be a feature in the core or one that requires an add-on.

Generally, a border-radius of 50% would make the avatar rounded:
