Implemented Restrict users and rules for Resource Manager

How can I restrict specific users to the Resource Manager ?

The idea is to let anyone see the things.
Just Registered can download.
Just users with 30 messages and 60 days since registration can upload stuff.

How to do that ?

Set User Group Permissions and the User Group Promotions to accomplish this.

I am not able to make this work, here is what I am doing.

Groups
- I created a Group named Resources, it has everything in green under "Resource Permissions", everything else, grey.

Group Promotions
I created a Resources promotion.

Options tab:
- Title: Resources
- Active yes.

Apply promotion to:
- User is Valid.
- User is a member of "Registered"
- User has published 10 messages.
- User has his profile complete.

Thats it.

The problem is that the users does not have the add resource button, so they can't add any resource.

Where can the problem be ?

Check you don't have Never set in any other groups the user is a member of.

I do have never in registered users, but the idea is that they grant access if they have 10 messages and profile complete. Thats how it should work, right ?

Never can't be overridden.

I don't understand.

Registered can't download resources.
Promoted to resources group can download resources.

If I let registered to download resources, then I can't do it the way I want.

Can you please explain me how this should be done ? I have it as the link you posted, in registered can't download and in resources group can.

Perhaps an add-on is the cause of the problem, try disabling them all and trying again.
