XF 1.3 Responsive mobile view problem

I seem to have a problem when viewing my forums on a mobile in portrait view.

All styles are the same on 2 different forums including he default xenforo style.

When you look at demos of styles in this same view every thing is perfect and centred but on my forums it looks like the picture. With 2/3 words a line in one long column.

The image just shows a short post looks worse with longer posts. How can I solve this

Sorted this now. was my error

I was using extra css to use larger avatars, Just added some responsive css to the extra.css and edited what I had
