XF 2.2 Ads showing up only in mobile view causing login issue

I have a problem that has stumped me for a couple of weeks now. In mobile view only, a google ad shows up. This is not a defacement/hack because I'm getting credit in google adsense for these. Otherwise I have completely disabled all ads on the site. However I can find no references at all in the XF admin to any kind of ad code.
I've run all of the cache tools multiple times. I've disabled all plugins. I've also emptied cache on the server. And on local devices. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you. Paul

Check the ad locations and customised templates.

There must be ad code somewhere.

Doesn't Adsense use a tracking number for the ads of some type?
Could you not do a template search based upon that number to see if it's coded into a template?
