Resource Manager Extension: Multiple people managing one resource?

Greetings!

I was wondering if any one knows a way (plugin or otherwise) to have multiple users having access to modify a specific resource?

Say ResourceA has 3 developers working on it, each developer can go in and modify the description, post a new update, and so on.

Something along the lines of the Resource creator having the ability to add other developer's/maintainers to a resource. Not a specific limit on the amount of developers who can be granted access. Ideally, with different permission level (maintainer, documenter, etc) but thats going further from the core concept of multiple resource editors.

Doesn't resource manager already allow that with the permission (update anyones resource or something similar)?

This isn't admin override, this is resource creator giving a specific user access to editing the resource. Essentially, adding him to the resource as a contributor.
