When I see a new Resource - or one I've not noticed before - on New Posts, it's always an annoyance that the link takes me to the Resource discussion thread. To see what the resource is al about I have to wait for that page to load, then go to Overview. Lots and lots of recurring irritable reactions!
I do realise from a purist point of view that this is all right an proper. "New Posts" is about, well posts and threads.
However IT'S ANNOYING.
If the link for Resource threads under New Posts, became a link to the Overview that would be so much more comfy. On first visit anyway.
But then it would be annoying when wanting an update on the discussion we've already visited.
Solution:
For a resource not previously visited - link to the Overview.
For a resource previously visited - link to discussion.
