XF 2.1 Reset user groups to default permissions

I made edits to main user groups that shipped with XenForo (Administrative, Moderating, Registered, "Guest") and would like to reset these to default values.

I just started to understand secondary groups that would easily allow permissions based upon add-ons as opposed to setting each one individually and it seems more cumbersome than creating a new user group and assigning.

And can secondary groups be automatically assigned on registration or are they manual?

Is there a way to do this without reinstalling?

It doesn't really matter what the default permissions are - you set them up as required.

However, if you want to set them to the defaults, set up an online demo and copy the permissions.

How about automatically placing registered users into secondary groups?

I don't see how secondary groups can be set in ACP->Options->User registration. Is there another area? Or does each member have to be manually added?

User group promotions do that.

You set those up with various criteria.
