XF 2.3 Replacing deleted widgets

Ok so I deleted all my widgets (long story) and now can't work out how to put them back again. I'm sure I've asked this before (when I deleted one before) but can't find the thread via search. They're still there, further down the list, but need to be put back.

So your widgets haven't been deleted - but have just had their positions removed?

Or have they been completely deleted?

If they're just in the No Position category, you can click into them and select preset positions from the series of checkboxes, like so.



If they've been completely deleted from even the No Position, you'll need to add them back in using the Add Widget button, then select the positions.

Can't see them - and they're not in the No position section. Staff online and members online are still there, but forum statistics is missing. It shows on the list as being there, but isn't there

So it should be as simple as going Add Widget > Forum Statistics, then setting the position.

I personally have mine set in Forum List: sidebar, Forum New Posts: sidebar and What's New: sidebar

I honestly can't remember what I did! They maybe were there before. It's been offline for a couple of months. I'll try that.

So if it's there but not visible on the page, I'd check your custom css and use inspect element on the Forum Overview page. It's likely you've set that widget to display: none

Could you provide a link? It would take only a few seconds to check that scenario.

I just opened it up and ticked forum list sidebar and a position number and it's back now. Not sure why it was under new posts

So they're all back where they belong?

So I got forum statistics back. New posts is showing in the right place but doesn't seem to want to appear. I tried changing the position number and saving and it still won't appear. Would that simply be because there are no new posts?

Yes that was it Made a post and it's now appeared
