XF 2.2 Replacement for BBCodes & Editor Manager - Parsing HTML in Editor

I'm a bit confused as to how to get HTML to work in the editor for admins. I've used the BBCodes & Editor Manager add-on to accomplish this in the past, but need to figure out how to do this in XF2.2

Has anyone else managed to get this working?

It would require an XF 2.2. compatible add-on.

@Lukas W. @Xon - any plans for something like this? We really just need the ability to insert a custom bbcode that will parse html, that can be locked down to specific groups.
