XF 1.5 Removing node from Recent Activity

I'm using a live feed add-on. And before anyone tells me to post there, let me explain why I'm posting here.

It seems that it uses the Recent Activity on the official Xenforo installation to pull data for the live feed (I unchecked RSS feed already to try). Is there a way to exclude a node for this? To clarify a bit. We have a node dedicated to roleplays. We have a fairly large board, but our roleplays get CONSTANT posts. Which isn't an issue. But the live feed pretty much gets flooded with posts from the roleplay.

In our opinion and our users, roleplays don't need to be included in this feature.

It would require custom development to exclude content on a per node basis.

However, you may be able to do it by editing the template and using a conditional statement utilising the node ID.

That's what I assumed! I'm relatively new to Web development in general. I'm more of a software person myself.

Could you direct me to documentation regarding the proper conditional statements for xenforo?
