Browser Issue Removing formatting leaves text painted

    This happens in quick reply.

    I paste formatted text, select it and use the "Remove formatting" button. Now the formatting is gone but the text won't get unselected (using Firefox). You can see the cursor and "cursor holes" below. Typing or truly selecting text makes it normal, but clicking does not.

    Works in Google Chrome 6.0.472.53

    Works perfectly fine in Opera 10.61.

    Works fine for me with Firefox as well. However, things like this are effectively always down to internal rendering issues. There's generally not a lot that can be done.

    Works fine for me in IE too, but I have reproduced this on 3 computers and Firefox. Oh well, just one more reason not to like WYSIWYG.

    which FireFox ?
    are you using beta or stable version ?

    Stable. Always updating when new versions come out.

    Could easily be worked around by selecting a random piece of text and then returning to the previous selection when a user clears the formatting.
