1. Download Andy-RemoveTwoStepVerification-1.0.zip and unzip it.
2. Copy the src/addons/Andy/AdminNotes directory to your server.
3. From the Admin Control Panel Install the add-on.

It seems that XF 2.01 forced 2 step verification on for administrators on our site.
2 step verification is now required for entering the admin panel even though that switched is turned off.
Will this remove that requirement?

2.0.1 did no such thing.

You will have modified your permissions in such a way that you have required two step verification for those users.

Use the Analyse Permissions function in the Admin CP to see where this is being applied to affected users.

In adition to Chris, make sure this option is unchecked to disable two-step verification for admins:

Found the problem. When modifying administrator permissions, the setting to require two-step verification got checked per picture below.
