XF 2.0 remove /forums/ from links

Hello,
I enabled the feature Use Full Friendly URLs, this is a wonderful feature however within the links shows /forums/
For example

https://test.site/forums/announcements/

I'd like to know if there is a way to remove the /forums/ from that link to just show

https://test.site/announcements/

Rename '/forums/announcements' to '/announcements'?

You can remove the /forums/ part with route filters, but you have to do a route filter for each individual forum that you'd want to cover. You can't automatically remove /forums/ everywhere in one action. (Note that depending on what you pick, you run the risk creating conflicts with other route types.)

Hi Mike. Is this still the case with route filters? I just moved to your cloud service, and used to have my forum in /forum/ - but now I am running off the root. Wanted to see if anything has changed with route filters before I dive in since this post was a few years old. Thanks!

I had found that but was hoping there would be a global somewhere hidden for just eliminating /forum/ everywhere vs. individual forums. Thanks!
