Remove EWRatendo - weird problem

I had Xenatendo installed sometimes ago, then I removed it without removing the addon folders.

Recently, I tried to remove the folders as well and I got the following issue:

After removing the folders, I deleted a post. straight after deleting the post I got server error 500. The problem did not go away until I put the EWRatendo folder back to the library folder. I tried to reproduce the errors a few times and got the same errors.

I am not sure what is causing this.

That doesn't sound possible if the add-on was properly uninstalled. Without the code event listeners etc. those files are useless.

Maybe something didn't remove properly?

Does anything get logged in your Admin CP error log?

One thing to try is to completely install XenAtendo again using the latest version, and then do the uninstall and remove the files again.

That would hopefully ensure the add-on is properly removed.

You are right, the addon was not removed properly. When I installed XenAtendo again, there was some error, then XenAtendo appeared in the list of installed addons. After uninstalling it again, I could remove the addon folders with no problem. I am learning every day . Thanks mate.
